Settling Old Scores
Life moves on.
My not-quite-official almost-adopted son has returned to Atlanta after a 2 week vacation here. My son's fiancee collapsed at her work from anemia and complications from a prescription, and she's got a doctor-ordered 2 day get-well respite before going back.
As for me, I'm doing better than I thought. My muse is actually starting to be dependably present when I choose to call upon her. The following was this past month's entry in the Teitho Challenge - and again I got 2nd place (out of a field of 4.) I'm seriously starting to consider joining a YaHell group dedicated to full-on con-crit, just so that I can start getting the kind of feedback to my work that will REALLY help me fine-tune my skills.
