Happy Easter
Apr. 24th, 2011 12:58 pmFor those who celebrate a holiday today, a gift from my garden to you:

Bless its little heart, this plant thrives on the utter lack of care and pampering that it's been getting for the last twenty years. The plant itself looks like the dickens when not in bloom - but boy-o-boy, when it decides to put on a show...

Not to be considered second-best, my old-fashioned cabbage rose got a decent trimming in January, and is now letting us know that it's a happy camper too.

So... Whether one celebrates Beltain (a little early), Easter, Pesach, or whatever - enjoy the season of New Life.
