In memory of family and friends who have lost the battle with cancer; and in support of the ones who continue to conquer it! Post this on your LJ if you know someone who has or had cancer. 93% won't copy and paste this. Will you?
In my case, this is for my maternal grandfather, who died of lung cancer; maternal grandmother, who survived breast cancer WAY back in the 50's and lived more than 20 years more, well into her 80's; to my mom, who survived losing a kidney, a hysterectomy and skin cancer and died in 2007, my dad, who survived prostate cancer and died in 2007; and my dear friend Linda, who just found out she has breast cancer and is just starting the treatment.
